Sitting in the backstage living room.
Hey!

I'm laying on a comfortable, beautiful couch in the backstage club house/living room/"T party" room. It's a room I've always wanted to have on other tours. It looks nothing like backstage. It looks like your living room. The walls are covered in magenta/maroon/gold/purple draped fabric, and the floors are carpeted with oriental rugs on top. There are lanterns hanging from the ceiling and candles everywhere. In the middle of everything is a column with pictures of my band and me all over it. Pictures that remind me of home. Pictures with Kellie, Abigail, Selena, my dad, my brother, the trip my band and crew and I took to Hawaii this summer.. My dancers, my crew.. Everyone's in a picture. That's just my favorite part of the room. The boys like the ping pong table, foosball table, and the big screen TV entertainment center. So I'm in heaven right now, sitting on the couch, waiting for everyone to get here to rehearse.

Hey, I wanted to thank you for getting me nominated for so many CMT awards this year!! You gave me the coolest night EVER last year when you won Video of the Year and Female Video for me... I'll never forget that. Hey... if you want to vote for me again this year.......... That would be awesome. I would like that :) A lot. (CMT.com)

I'm gonna get back to rehearsals. My opening band Gloriana was here yesterday, and we were working up some cool stuff. Kellie gets in tonight!! So excited.

I'm VERY sorry that I didn't update for more than week. I had connection problems.

First of all, EXCITING NEWS! Taylor's amazing song, "White Horse" made it to the NUMBER ONE spot! I am so happy for Taylor! White Horse is one of my favorite song by Taylor Swift. I hope it ends up as the same position as her other amazing song, "Love Story"! White Horse had over 34 million listeners! How awesome is that?!

Second of all, Taylor is in 2 Music Videos! One is "The Best Days Of Your Life" by Kellie Pickler and Taylor did the backing vocals. The video is funny. Go here to see it. The other one is "Crazier" and that song is totally amazing! Go here to see the MV.

Houston Rodeo and a giant stage.
Hey!

I'm wiped out. I've been in the studio all day ( I know, I know.. We JUST put out a new album. I think I have a problem, I cannot stop writing songs.) It's so much fun knowing that you can take your time, because you have like a year and a half to make something you're really proud of. I love recording a few songs, waiting a few months, recording a few more.. Instead of devoting a few weeks to "record the album" and then it's just done. I like dragging it out, that way you can be meticulous about every detail. Daydream about different ways to put the songs together, and then take them apart. I'm pretty obsessed with the whole process. So needless to say, it was good to be back in the studio with my redheaded producer who I missed terribly.

Tomorrow I play the Houston Rodeo for the first time in my life. I've heard about it since I was born because my mom's from Houston. They're telling me really crazy things about the ticket sales so far, and I'm kind of in shock about how many of your beautiful faces I'm going to be seeing tomorrow. :) I'm really excited about it, and I'd love to see you there!

When we get back from Texas, I go straight into tour rehearsals for the Fearless tour. (!!!!) I can't believe this is actually.. really... happening. They've set my stage up in this giant, massive warehouse and apparently it's really something. Considering that the stage was originally inspired from a drawing I made a few years ago, I'll be the most excited person in the room when we go over and see it for the first time. Then we start the hard part: Putting the show together.

Again, I know I say thank you every 4 seconds, but.. guys.. Thanks for all of this.

I'm so excited, I can't even stand it. It's on news stands now, and I haven't seen it yet because I'm in London, but I just can't believe I get to be on the cover of Rolling Stone. Wow. This is crazy.

It's been a fun couple of weeks.. We played at the San Antonio rodeo, and that was a total blast. We hadn't gotten to play a full show (like a two hour show) in a few months, so everyone in the band was going crazy all day. All week, even, it was just "I need to play a show. I need to play a show." Then we got to San Antonio, and we were all walking around the arena before meet and greet. I was walking back to the dressing room, when I passed Caitlin (fiddle extraordinaire) in the hall. She was wearing these silver, reflective, almost blinding leggings under her skirt. That's the sort of thing we all tease each other about, so as soon as I got back to the dressing room, before I turned the corner, I yelled "Caitlin looks like a space stripper!". I turn the corner, and standing in my dressing room is.... George Strait and his wife Norma. I literally was so mortified, I fell to the floor and my face was BRIGHT red. We all burst out laughing and hung out for about an hour. I don't think anything has ever surprised me as much, and I honestly never thought I'd get to say that George Strait came to watch one of my shows.

Alright, now I'm going to prove my '13' theory even more with a few things that have happened lately. I know I'm always going on about 13 being my lucky number, but this is really... coincidental. So, this is the 13th week of Fearless being out. In the 13th week of my album being out, "Love Story" went number ONE on pop radio!! Not only that, but this week, the album went back to number one on the Billboard 200 (which I never expected it would do). Also in the 13th week, my Rolling Stone cover came out. This is probably one of the best weeks I've ever had, and it's the 13th week of my album being out! It may have something to do with luck, but I'll always know that it has EVERYTHING to do with you guys going out there and fighting for me and making my life what it is now.

I've been in London for the last week. I love it here! When I got here, I didn't expect anyone to know who I was because I'm pretty much starting all over here and my album isn't even out until March 9... But everywhere I've gone, there have been SO many fans outside waiting with signs and flowers! I can't believe it! It was the same going to the Brits last night.. The red carpet was so much fun, and there were so many fans outside with CDs and pictures and signs. So cool, you guys. The Brits were amazing, what a cool night. We spent the day in Scotland doing radio and acoustic shows, then Manchester. That was basically the prettiest drive ever. Now I'm on the way back to London from Manchester on a double decker tour bus. My band and I are like little kids, because we haven't ever seen one of these before. But now we've settled down and are all crowded together in the back lounge, watching one of our Eagles live concert DVDs.

I added a new layout. I'm not really happy with it though :P Maybe after a few days or maybe TOMORROW I will change the layout to a nice TAYLOR layout ♥ I'm still a little new to blogger so can someone teach me to change my layout? I know how to change it to the classic layouts but those can be a bit boring and I'm having trouble changing the layout to this one: http://www.blogskins.com/info/243898 I think it will be very nice for this fansite.

Taylor's video "White Horse" is out. I love it and the video is just perfect it really showed what Taylor was feeling. It was so heart-breaking and when you watch it, be sure to have a box of tissues with you. It was beautiful. I love all her videos but i think this is the best video she has ever done. Hello there,

So I've been rehearsing all week with my band. I get up early in the morning, do phone interviews on the way to rehearsal, and practice all day. It's been so much fun playing the new songs! We're rehearsing for the 3 shows we're doing before the Fearless tour kicks off in April. We're playing the San Antonio Rodeo, the Houston Rodeo, and Plant City, FL because they're awesome and I wanted to play there even if it was before the tour started. So we're working up the new songs and practicing for these shows, and I'm so excited. Today Miley came to our rehearsal and we were working up the performance for the Grammys. We worked it up, practiced a bunch, and then ate an entire pizza.

I can't believe it but the first show for the Fearless Tour goes on sale tomorrow!! It's not the first show we play on the tour (our opening night is in Indiana), but it's the first show to put tickets on sale. It's the LA show at the Staples Center. First of all, I can't believe I'm playing the Staples Center. Wow. This is just.. Wow. I hope people show up.

I think about this tour all day, every day. I'm so excited that Kellie's coming out to open up-- She's been one of my best friends since we toured together a few years ago, and it's gonna be hilarious to be on the road with her again. I can't wait to go over to her bus and hang out with her and all of her tiny little animals that she has rapidly acquired. Between the cat, the dog, the snake, and the monkey... It's going to be a trip. Or a zoo. Or both. I love her and I'm so lucky she's coming out with me.

Also, there's this new group called Gloriana that's coming out with us. They're AMAZING and I love their new single "Wild at Heart". I heard it and immediately knew I wanted them on this tour. Check them out, I think you'll agree. Everyone in Nashville is buzzing about them and now I get to have them out with ME this summer. Yessssss.

I'm headed off to bed now. Tomorrow I leave again for 50 years. Actually, a few weeks. But basically, I have some major packing to do.
